Market makes a welcome return

October 12, 2016

One of the region’s coolest and most popular outdoor attractions, the Emu Plains Market returns from its winter hibernation on Saturday, October 15, from 9am-2pm.

Now in its fifth season, the EPM reopens with more than 220 stallholders, each hand-picked for their unique style, design and philosophy.  There is also an amazing array of mouthwatering food from some of Melbourne’s best street food vendors and an extensive variety of Peninsula gourmet and fresh produce on offer.

This family-friendly market has plenty for kids to explore too, including face painting and fun with Faery Emma, pony rides, jumping castles and a great park all situated beneath the sprawling glade of ancient stringy-barks.

There are also craft workshops every month and free entertainment from resident musicians The Whisky Gypsies and Matt Katsis.

Whatever you love you’ll enjoy the sights, sounds, flavours, action and colour of the Emu Plains Market. For more details, log on to emuplainsmarket.com.au
