This summer, the beautiful Emu Plains Reserve in Balnarring will once again be transformed into an open-air cinema unlike anything seen before on the Mornington Peninsula.
For an event the whole family will adore, come early to experience some amazing live local entertainment, mouthwatering food and a bar stocked with the Peninsula’s own Quealy Wines and Red Hill Brewery beers.
A giant 6m screen illuminated against the picturesque backdrop will feature six movies over three weeks, including all-time family favourites such as The Goonies, Ghostbusters and The Karate Kid. Gift certificates are also available and make the perfect present for someone who has everything.
The season will run from January 4-20. Gates open at 6.30pm and the movies begin at sundown (about 8.30pm). Tickets start from $10 (children under 5 free). For all the details, log on to www.stringybarkcinema.com.au
