Daveys is perfectly situated on Frankston’s vibrant waterfront.
Daveys’ delicious nightly restaurant specials begin on Tuesdays with lamb shank and shiraz for only $22, followed by Surf and Turf on Wednesdays for $20. On Thursdays Daveys starts to gear up for the weekend with $3 tacos and Tecates in the front bar during open mic night. By Friday it’s full steam ahead with soulful r’n’b and funk jams playing from 4pm for the after-work crowd in the front bar. Saturday nights are entertainment-filled in the nightclub, while Soultrain on Sundays gives punters the chance to wind down with soul, blues and rock’n’roll bands playing from 3pm.
The heart of Daveys’ space is its a la carte restaurant, which features modern Australian cuisine with Mediterranean influences and flavoursome seafood. The wine list includes a wide range of Mornington Peninsula wines, and you might also find the occasional craft beer on tap.
The restaurant is filled with natural light, giving it a bright, contemporary ambience in which diners can appreciate the relaxing views of Port Phillip Bay and the picturesque bridges and boats at the mouth of Kananook Creek. It’s open Monday through Friday for lunch and dinner, with all-day dining on Saturdays and Sundays, and the front bar is open Thursday to Sunday from noon.
So come on over and enjoy the seaside ambience at Daveys.
