Dress For Success is “much more than simply a new outfit”, says Mornington Peninsula branch president Prue Leggoe.
“It’s all about offering long-lasting solutions to enable women to break the cycle of poverty.”
DFS assists women who have been unemployed for some time by rebuilding their confidence and helping them to look and feel their best and achieve their work and personal goals.
“DFS will dress you in a smart outfit with accessories for your interview or work, provide advice on interview techniques and coaching, help build personal and work-related skills through regular free workshops, and organise mentoring and ongoing support after you get a job.”
DFS’s next women’s lunch is on September 7 at the Frankston RSL from 11.30am-2.30pm, with all proceeds going to DFS. Check the website for details and for other key fundraising events.
