The Peninsula Arts Society will be having its major exhibition of members’ work over Melbourne Cup weekend, from Saturday, November 4, to Tuesday, November 7.
The exhibition, which will be open daily from 10am-5pm with free entry and parking, will feature works of an incredibly high standard from many well-known Peninsula artists. All works on show are available for purchase at very reasonable prices, including individually designed craft pieces that would make great presents for those special people in your life.
The society was formed on March 11, 1954, when professional artists across the Peninsula first came together at the Mechanics Hall in Frankston. Since then, PAS has grown to about 600 members and now has its own premises at 159 Overport Rd, Frankston South. “Friendship through Art” is the foundation of the society and this is reflected in all its activities.
The society invites you to come and enjoy this exhibition with your family and friends. Refreshments are available at the venue thanks to the Frankston Red Cross. For inquiries, email [email protected]; for more information, phone 9775 2640 between 10am-2pm.
