Rosie’s Kitchen Pantry Café – the very name evokes happy childhood memories of the delicious smells and tastes of home baking in a kitchen filled with warmth and love.
That’s just the sort of atmosphere owner and chef Rosie Major has managed to create since opening the café on Australia Day last year.
Rosie’s Kitchen Pantry Café serves mouthwatering breakfasts and lunches, prepares delicious take-home meals and offers a full catering service – not to mention Rosie’s stunning cakes and treats. And on the fourth Friday night of the month, Rosie’s opens for dinner with a menu that can include such wholesome fare as minted pea and ham hock soup for entrée, Rosie’s fish pie with homemade wedges and lemon aioli for main and apple berry crumble with vanilla bean ice cream for dessert.
Rosie uses locally sourced organic and free-range produce whenever it’s available and serves Dimattina organic coffee; she’s also conscious of people’s food allergies and usually has several options ready-made for her customers, and she supports a range of local organisations and charities.
